About Stefania Santarsiero

Hey there, my name is Stefania (She/Her), I’m a second-year transfer student here at UCSD and I’m pursuing a Microbiology Major and Global Health Minor. A little bit about me, I grew up in Rome (IT) and I moved to sunny San Diego around five years ago, I like to consider myself a local ;). I attended Mesa Community College here in SD and as I transferred, I learned the importance of prioritizing non-academic activities that help me decompress and make me happy. On that note, being co-host of a radio show on our school radio and swimming at UCSD have been very important for my mental health and a great way to be involved on campus which I 300% encourage you to do! I can’t wait to share what I have learned over the past years and I’m excited for us to have a chat about how to get involved on campus and more tips to support you on your journey at UCSD!
