About Kenny Trang

Hi all, my name is Kenny!

I transferred from Ohlone College in the Bay area and now, I’m a fourth-year joint mathematics/economics major at Marshall College. Prior to transfer, I was mainly involved in Associated Students and spearheaded our student newspaper. I also was involved in voter registration advocacy and participated in grassroots events throughout the Bay. Since transferring to UCSD, I have continued my love for grassroots organizations, news, and my major – I am a part of KSDT Radio as a DJ and the News Director,  the treasurer at the Society of Undergraduate Mathematics Students, and am involved in Vietnamese Student Association and Triton Actuarial Society. In my free time outside of school, I love to watch movies and log them on my Letterboxd, read beatnik literature, cook, and spend time with my friends. My favorite spots on campus are Rooftop at Sixth and APM at Muir.
