Transfer Map

Your Transfer Map is a chance for you to create your your academic and involvement plans for your time at UCSD. You will have an opportunity to meet with a peer coach to discuss and review your transfer map, and in doing so you will receive $10 in Triton Cash!

 

How it works:

  1. Download the Transfer Map worksheet.
  2. Create a tentative academic plan by following these steps. Identify how many quarters you will be attending at UCSD.
  3. Explore different types of involvements on campus.
    • Take some time to reflect on your interests, what your external obligations are, how your external obligations will impact your time commitments, and identify the key resources you will need to be successful at UCSD.
  4. Fill out your Transfer Map worksheet by quarter.
    • Write out your involvement goals for each quarter and what resources will be useful in reaching your goals.
  5. Stop here! At this point, make an Involvement Map appointment with your summertime Peer Coach and complete Page 4 together.
  6. Get $10 in Triton Cash after completing the Involvement Map with a peer coach!

STEP Welcome!

Any individual who took part in STEP into 2023 will have the chance to join us for STEP Welcome Day on Wednesday, September 27. This will be an exclusive in-person opportunity to meet others who have STEPPED into the year with you, and a chance to meet a community of like-minded transfer students. 

AGENDA:

  • 11:00am - 12:00pm - Welcome and activities
  • 12:00pm - 1:00pm - Lunch
  • 1:00pm - 2:00pm - Optional campus tours (find your classes!)
